Fixed 2D Barcode Reader Adds Quality in Restaurants

Application in the burger shop

As the Japanese burger franchise store—“MOS Burger” extends their branches in Taiwan since 1990. To fit around 300 branches for serving customer quick checking out time, MOS Burger started to use the e-payment system. Fixed 2D barcode reader DT-20 is integrated with the cash register.

Customers use their online APP to pre-order the food. To carry the MOS Card QR Code for checking out the order. Customers only need to put the QR code on the DT-20. The order amount will be deducted from the balance.

Integrated in KIOSK

If you don’t order burger on line, you can order food in their shop by self-order kiosk. The fixed 2D barcode reader DT-30 is fixed into the kiosk as the payment checking out reader.

Excellent performance

The excellent performance makes these two models of barcode scanner chosen in their payment system. The DT-20/DT-30 are using tempered glass on the surface. It’s not only anti-dust but also protect the scan engine. The tempered glass is 100% transparent to make sure barcode are read precisely.  

The DT-20/DT-30 images are 640 x 480 pixels. The minimum resolution is 4 mil. To meet most of user’s habit of scanning, the designed reading distance is from 0cm to 10cm (QR Code 20mil).  Adjustable illumination can meet on site environment need. The beeper can confirm the reading status.

Easy to be integrated

The DT-20 and DT-30 can be used alone as desktop hands-free barcode scanner or fixed/embed in kiosks. To be integrated easily, the two models provide M3 screw holes for mounting on the bracket. Both 2D readers come with tempered glass as the window. It’s anti-scratched and durable so that it won’t influent reading performance after a long-term use. The cables are available in USB type A and RS-232. Users can choose the one to meet their system need. The two models can be configured with no difficulty or effort by scanning barcodes provided. We provide rich configuration codes that fit for different user demands.

Elegant design

The DT-20 and DT-30 are designed in white color to consist host color. The quadrilateral shape can easily to be mounted on the bracket. Even if they are fixed into kiosk, the front side can be displayed perfectly and read barcode properly.
